You might love our piggies because they look soft, pink and cuddly, but these little darlings can save lives too!
When they grow up, each pig can produce a litter of 8 to 12 piglets – twice a year. For a poor family in Papua New Guinea, that’s up to 24 pigs to sell at the market! Each one sold provides income that can be used to build a house, buy tools and seeds, or send a child to school.
These little piggies work hard for their loving families. So go on, you must know someone who would love to give them a little cuddle...
